Development, Not Displacement Panel Discussion

In early April, Monica Chadha, principal and founder of Civic Projects Architecture, participated in a NOMASiit event at IIT’s S.R. Crown Hall. The panel and round table discussion focused on anti-gentrification architecture and how architects from not only Chicago, but around the world can do their part to combat cultural and community erasure due to gentrification. The panel also featured Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Planning and Development, Maurice Cox, Global Director of DEI and principal of Gensler , Jason Pugh (former NOMA president), and president and founder of JGMA , Juan Moreno.
